About Jaime
Jaime Mor has practised criminal and regulatory defence since becoming a lawyer. As co-founding partner of Mor Fisher LLP, he oversees the firm’s operations while maintaining an active caseload spanning the full range of charges — from provincial regulatory matters to the most serious violent and drug offences.
A former director of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, Jaime is known for meticulous preparation, creative legal research, and a fearless approach to trial advocacy. He is frequently sought out by other firms to assist with the research and preparation of complex applications, and he has successfully litigated cases at every level of Ontario’s courts, including the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Alongside his criminal practice, Jaime acts for individuals and businesses in regulatory investigations and prosecutions — matters under provincial statutes such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Provincial Offences Act, licensing and professional discipline proceedings, and the parallel regulatory exposure that so often accompanies a criminal charge. The same Charter and evidentiary arguments that win criminal trials frequently decide regulatory ones, and Jaime brings that approach to both.
